Jones Returns as Colts Face Ravens | Indianapolis Colts News

Daniel Jones makes his long-awaited return as the Indianapolis Colts face the Baltimore Ravens in their season opener, nine months after tearing his Achilles. Fully cleared since June and thriving through training camp, Jones is primed to build chemistry with the offense — a crucial step for a team aiming to start strong. Wide receiver Alec Pierce, recovering from ankle surgery, is also expected back, adding depth to the receiving corps. Coaches praise Jones’ relentless rehab as a symbol of resilience, while his early snaps will be cautious, focusing on mobility without overloading him. Pierce will see limited but vital action as a deep threat. For Jones, this game is the ultimate test — can he translate his recovery into real-game performance against a tough Ravens defense?
