Jones Faces Chiefs' Pressure Test | Indianapolis Colts News

Daniel Jones knows the Chiefs’ blitz-heavy defense, led by Steve Spagnuolo, is coming — and he’s preparing to handle it. After getting pressured into tough spots last week, where he completed just 61% of his passes with a costly interception, Jones and the Colts are doubling down on execution, communication, and protecting the pocket. With offensive line coach Tony Sparano Jr. and head coach Shane Steichen pushing for better pass protection and smarter play-calling, the team aims to balance aggression with accountability. Jones insists they’ll stay true to their explosive identity — but only if they can keep him upright. A road win against Kansas City would be a major confidence boost — and a statement that this roster is ready to rise.
