Colts Waive Edwards After Season Opener | Indianapolis Colts News

Colts surprise fans by cutting Johnathan Edwards right after a tough loss to the Ravens — he wasn’t even on the field for the game. They brought up Kenneth Harris from practice squad to fill his special teams role, signaling a roster shake-up. Edwards, a 6’1”, 201-pound UDFA signed in May, showed promise as a rookie last season with 24 tackles, 3 passes defensed, and 2 special teams stops across 14 games. Now, his future is uncertain — could he find a new home or is this the end of his Colts journey?
