Colts updated salary cap, 2026 draft picks, depth chart after Sauce Gardner trade

The Indianapolis Colts made a blockbuster trade, acquiring star cornerback Sauce Gardner from the New York Jets in exchange for two future first-round draft picks and wide receiver AD Mitchell. This move significantly boosts the Colts' defense, with Gardner joining Kenny Moore at the top of the cornerback depth chart. Despite the trade, the Colts still have a solid offensive core, including Michael Pittman, Alec Pierce, and Josh Downs. The Colts will inherit Gardner's large contract, keeping him in Indianapolis for more than five seasons, but they now have limited cap space, placing them near the bottom of the league.
