Colts Trade for Sauce Gardner, Strengthening Defense

On November seventh, the Indianapolis Colts bolstered their defense with a significant trade, acquiring star cornerback Sauce Gardner from the New York Jets. This move, involving two first-round draft picks and wide receiver AD Mitchell, brings a top-tier player to the team, addressing a key position with a long-term strategy. Gardners impressive career stats and favorable contract situation make him a valuable addition, expected to significantly improve the Colts secondary. With Gardner, Kenny Moore, and Charvarius Ward under contract through 2027, the Colts have secured a formidable defensive backfield for the next few seasons. DNN | The Daily News Now!
