Colts Trade for 'Sauce' Gardner, Signaling Championship Push

The Indianapolis Colts have made a bold move, trading for star cornerback Ahmad Sauce Gardner from the New York Jets. This acquisition, made just before the trade deadline, signals the Colts' intent to contend for a championship immediately. Gardner's exceptional skills and youth will significantly boost the Colts' defense, providing a crucial answer to potent passing attacks in the AFC. However, the trade comes with substantial financial implications, including a hefty long-term contract and the loss of two first-round draft picks. The Colts are clearly committed to a win now approach, believing they can win a Super Bowl within the next three years. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network.
