Colts Shift Green Dot to Davis-Gaither | Indianapolis Colts News

Colts shake up their defense for Sunday Night Football, handing the headset — and play-calling reins — to linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither. This move aims to boost communication, free safety Cam Bynum to focus on coverage, and help the unit react faster. Davis-Gaither, familiar with defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo from their Bengals days, delivered a solid debut with eight tackles. After a rough Week 1 loss where they surrendered over 500 yards, the team is targeting tighter execution, especially on third downs, hoping this tactical shift brings more confidence and cohesion to the field.
