Colts’ Rough Season Opener Explained | Indianapolis Colts News

Colts’ season opener was a brutal 41-23 loss to the Ravens, exposing glaring flaws across offense, defense, and special teams. Rookie CB Justin Walley struggled badly, but the whole secondary allowed too many big plays. QB Daniel Jones threw an interception that led to a score, and RB Jonathan Taylor fumbled after gaining a first down—turnovers hurt when the defense couldn’t stop the Ravens. Kicker Spencer Shrader missed an extra point, and holding penalties killed key returns. It was a disappointing, all-around collapse that leaves Indianapolis with plenty to fix before their next game.
