Colts Promote Wormley, Boost Defensive Line
The Indianapolis Colts have promoted veteran defensive tackle Chris Wormley from their practice squad to the active roster, ahead of their home game against the Houston Texans. Wormley, a six-foot-five, three-hundred-pound lineman, brings a wealth of experience to the team, having played in eighty-seven games and starting thirty-one of them. Hes also had stints with the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Carolina Panthers. Wormleys strong performance last year, particularly in run defense, suggests he could be a valuable asset for the Colts defensive line. Meanwhile, Neville Gallimore, who has been filling in for injured veteran DeForest Buckner, is now ready to play. Wormley will provide crucial veteran depth behind starting run-stopper Grover Stewart and Gallimore. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network. Every city. Every story.
