Colts' Gardner Out with Calf Injury

Indianapolis Colts star cornerback Sauce Gardner suffered a calf injury in the first quarter against the Houston Texans, forcing him to leave the game. The team is hoping its not serious, as they rely on his man-to-man defense, especially against strong wide receivers. In his absence, Mekhi Blackmon and Jaylon Jones may see increased playing time, while All-Pro cornerback Charvarius Ward returns to boost the secondary. DNN | The Daily News Now!
