Colts Defense Needs Reboot | Indianapolis Colts News

Colts defense is off to a brutal start, ranking dead last in expected points allowed and near the bottom against the run—despite it being just Week 1. Rookie linebacker CJ Allen played poorly despite limited snaps, while safety AJ Haulcy, fresh off an ankle injury, started over more reliable preseason performer Hunter Wohler, who looked solid. Haulcy’s performance was disastrous, leading to big plays and giving up over 200 rushing yards. The team needs to rethink its approach fast—getting their better young players involved is critical if they want to turn things around.
