Colts' Buckner Out 4 Weeks, Defense Adjusts

In a significant blow to the Indianapolis Colts, star defensive tackle DeForest Buckner has been placed on injured reserve due to a neck injury, sidelining him for at least four weeks. The Colts will need to adjust their defensive strategy for their upcoming games against Atlanta, Kansas City, and Houston, relying more heavily on players like Neville Gallimore, Adetomiwa Adebawore, and Laiatu Latu. Buckners return is tentatively set for December fifth, but a more realistic timeline might be Week fifteen against Seattle. DNN | The Daily News Now! The world’s first global local news network.
