Colts Acquire Star CB Sauce Gardner

The Indianapolis Colts have made a game-changing move, acquiring star cornerback Sauce Gardner from the New York Jets in a blockbuster trade. The Colts surrendered their first-round picks in 2026 and 2027, along with wide receiver AD Mitchell, to secure Gardner's services. Head Coach Shane Steichen is thrilled about the acquisition, praising Gardner's elite skills and anticipating his impact on the team's defense. If Gardner clears concussion protocol, he is expected to make his Colts debut in Week Ten against the Atlanta Falcons. Gardner, a two-time All-Pro at just 25, brings a strong track record and is under contract for the next five-plus seasons, solidifying a key position for the Colts. DNN | The Daily News Now!
