Colts acquire CB Sauce Gardner from New York Jets in exchange for 2026, 2027 first-round picks and WR Adonai Mitchell

The Indianapolis Colts have made a game-changing move by acquiring star cornerback Sauce Gardner from the New York Jets. In exchange, the Colts sent their first-round picks in 2026 and 2027, along with wide receiver Adonai Mitchell. Gardner, a former fourth overall pick, has quickly become one of the league's top defensive talents, earning NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year honors and first-team All-Pro status in his first two seasons. His exceptional skill and consistency have made him a formidable force in the secondary, preventing opposing receivers from gaining significant yardage. The Colts' General Manager, Chris Ballard, expressed his excitement about the acquisition, expecting Gardner's talent and competitive nature to elevate the entire defensive unit.
