Charvarius Ward’s Injury Battle | Indianapolis Colts News

Cam Bynum’s stellar season with four interceptions contrasts sharply with Charvarius Ward Sr.’s rocky comeback, as the Colts’ top cornerback battles lingering injuries and questions about his future in the game. After missing most of last year due to concussions and briefly considering retirement, Ward returned for 2025—only to face another setback with a back injury during training camp. Despite his All-Pro pedigree and passion for football, his durability remains in doubt, especially as depth options like Sauce Gardner and Justin Walley stand ready if he can’t go. With Sunday Night Football against the Chiefs looming, Ward’s health will be the biggest story—and maybe the biggest gamble—for Indianapolis this season.
