Hour 2: Hope That Can Not Fail

On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we visited with a highly respected expert on mental health matters who shared snapshots from her personal journey as the background for wide-ranging conversation on anxiety. She explained what anxiety is and is not, what causes anxiety and how to deal with it when it rears its ugly head. Our favorite Scottish apologist joined us for a very personal conversation about taking the trip from Australia back to Scotland to bid a final farewell to his mother. He shared with us the important lesson he took away from that experience. Then shifting gears, he addressed the accusation from a Canadian leader that the bible is full of “hate speech” and how a once trusted news service has fallen into deceptive practices and passing on misinformation as truth. A former gay man who had his life transformed has become a dedicated advocate for a return to God’s standard for sexuality. He has created a powerful media presentation that is opening eyes and transforming lives. He joined us to share a wide-range view of this very important tool. We helped you stretch your prayer list by sharing more stories of God at work in the entertainment industry. Then a bestselling author joined us to talk about the true meaning of Christmas and the transformative power of the Christmas story and how the story of Jesus entering into our world is the most important story ever told in human history. The news never stops and neither does our need to look at it with a critical, biblically sound eye. Join us for another exploration of some of the most important headlines of the week through the lens of scripture.
