Isaiah 1: Repentance, Cleansing, and True Worship
In Isaiah 1, the Lord confronts Judah's rebellion, hypocrisy, injustice, and empty religious activity. God exposes the seriousness of sin while extending a gracious call to repentance: "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow" (Isaiah 1:18). Dave Jenkins explains how Isaiah 1 calls believers to reject mere outward performance, pursue genuine obedience and justice, and trust in the cleansing and redemption found in Jesus Christ alone.
