Husker247 Podcast: 2025s set to arrive and a Raiola ranking

The Husker247 Podcast returns at full strength as Michael Bruntz tells Mike Schaefer, Brian Christopherson and the listeners about Adrian Martinez’s presence in Norway and the three discuss 2025 freshmen that haven’t arrived, Dylan Raiola and more. Which late arriving freshman have the potential to help out early in their careers? Which, if any, defensive linemen could take the Keona Davis route? What to make of linemen like Shawn Hammerbeck, Juju Marks and Brian Tapu? Where is the best position for Jeremiah Jones? Then the trio discuss Raiola’s ranking in 247Sports list of top returning quarterbacks. Does Raiola get enough credit for being the rare quarterback to play for a Power Conference team all season as a freshman? Should he automatically end up behind quarterbacks who haven’t played much or at all even if the team context is better? Finally there’s a little too much NBA talk and no one is sure how it got there.
