Titane (2021) feat. Girl, That's Scary

Strap yourself in because we're serial killing and car fucking with Titane (2021). Riding along in the Cadillac are Jazz and Kat of Girl, That's Scary, who have plenty to say about Julia Ducournau's follow-up to Raw. Up for discussion: how many people has Alexia killed and have long has she been sleeping with cars? Is Justine the same cannibal character? What is Vincent sticking in his ass? And did Rayane deserve to be exploded? Plus: working through pronouns and a few trans readings (both pro and con), Ducournau's visceral sound design, the film's use of dance & musicality, and baby body horror.
