A Fighter's Mentality W/ Danny Chavez

Nelson reunites with an old friend and mentor, Danny Chavez. Their connection traces back to Fight Club where Danny served as Nelson's boxing coach. As life moved on, they lost touch, but destiny had a way of rekindling their bond. Amidst the quiet of pandemic lockdowns, the UFC emerged as the sole sport spectacle, and to Nelson's astonishment, one day, he spotted Danny making his UFC debut, securing a win. This unexpected discovery led to a reconnection and paved the way for this podcast session. Throughout the conversation, the two dive deep into the psyche of a fighter. Danny sheds light on the immense mental toughness required in the realm of professional fighting. The episode centers around the intriguing concept of "The Breaking Point," a moment when fighters face the extremities of pain and exhaustion, and their decision at that instant can make or break legendary fights. This isn't just about physical endurance; it's a mental battle. Danny articulates how fighting is an authentic reflection of one's soul, stating, "you can't fake fighting." This martial art is an embodiment of human survival instincts, an expression that dates back to the ancient gladiatorial combats of Rome. Nelson, as a fight enthusiast, admires and delves into this deep-rooted passion for fighting that resonates within us all.Danny Chavez on Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/dwarrior875/Connect with Nelson on all his social media platforms, check out his website, buy the book/audiobook and more on LinkMehttps://link.me/montanamethodmindset Learn more about your ad choices.
