Daily Devo | Oh, Brother! When Family Doesn't Understand (New Testament in a Year, John 7:1-31)
As opposition against Jesus grows, his brothers urge him to go publicly to the Feast of Tabernacles and play to the crowds. Jesus responds that his timing and purposes are not the same as the world's. The passage highlights the tension between worldly recognition and faithful obedience, between impatience and trust in God's timing.

For Reflection:
- Why do you imagine that Jesus’ brothers fail to understand or believe in him?
- How can pressure from others influence your decisions or priorities?
- Are there areas where you struggle to trust God’s timing?
- What does it look like to seek God’s approval rather than public recognition?
- Prayer: Father, help me trust your timing and follow your will instead of seeking approval or control.
