The Devil Made Him Do It? The Arne Johnson Story — Mom's Secret Note Changed EVERYTHING

Alan Bono was 40 years old. He managed a kennel in Brookfield, Connecticut. He was stabbed on his own lawn on February 16, 1981 — the town's first homicide in 193 years. Three films, a book, a Netflix documentary, and a franchise worth over $2 billion have been built on his story. He is a footnote in every version. The family whose 11-year-old boy made it all possible received $4,500. The Warrens took more than $81,000. An ambulance driver testified to something no movie has included — Debbie's words at the scene about how Arne gets when he's been drinking. Arne Johnson has never said the devil made him do it. A judge barred the defense. Carl Jr. found a note after his mother died: she'd been putting Sominex in the family's food.
