Gypsy Rose Blanchard's First Move After Ken Urker Died

Ken Urker was found dead in bed at his Raceland, Louisiana home on October 1 — his thirty-fourth birthday. Lafourche Parish deputies confirmed his death after family members climbed through a bedroom window for a welfare check. He had told family he was severely depressed the night before at church. No official cause of death has been released. Before the autopsy was finished, Gypsy Rose Blanchard gave an exclusive interview to People magazine, called it a suspected overdose, blamed cyberbullying, and launched a petition for "Kenan's Law." Retired FBI Special Agent Robin Dreeke and Tony Brueski examine the behavioral psychology of someone who moves to control the media narrative before the investigation has begun — and whether it looks like panic or calculation.
