Sandra Birchmore, Anna Kepner and Bryan Kohberger: Who Got Protection to Testify?

Nothing William Farwell said on the witness stand at the Sandra Birchmore trial can be used to prosecute him, because he testified under a grant of immunity. Matthew Farwell's twin admitted he and Sandra were intimate during his time on duty in Stoughton.

Dr. María del Mar Capó-Martínez, the medical examiner who first ruled Sandra's death a suicide, changed it to undetermined in April 2026. Prosecutors say the original rested on misinformation, and Farwell's lawyers blame pressure from federal prosecutors.

Anna Kepner's stepbrother Timothy Hudson, who was 16 when she died, has to plead by January 15, 2027, or go to trial January 25.

Judge Steven Hippler vacated every date in Bryan Kohberger's case the night before an October 15 hearing on Kohberger's bid to remove him for bias.

Bob Motta of Defense Diaries and retired FBI agent Robin Dreeke join me to argue which of these deals should stand.
