Gypsy Rose's Prison Calls Said WHAT About Ken Urker?!

Gypsy Rose Blanchard reportedly said something about Ken Urker in prison that reads very differently after his death on October 1, 2026.

Leaked recordings reported to be from 2020 and 2021 prison calls capture Gypsy talking with Ryan Anderson about Ken and saying she had told Ken she hoped he would overdose. Years later, Ken was found dead at his Raceland home on his thirty-fourth birthday. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office report describes drug paraphernalia at the scene, including syringes and a spoon near a brown powdery substance. Deputies also reported a syringe and holstered handgun near the bed. The sheriff’s office said it found no signs of foul play, while the official cause of death remained unannounced when the report was released.

That investigation is unfolding against a second battle over Gypsy’s history. Online supporters of Dee Dee Blanchard argue that Gypsy’s real chromosome 1q21.1 deletion proves the public was misled about her childhood. The genetic condition is real and can have variable effects. So is the record showing that Dee Dee attributed other serious illnesses and disabilities to Gypsy. Dr. Bernardo Flasterstein, a pediatric neurologist who evaluated her, documented a strong possibility of Munchausen by proxy.

Dee Dee’s father, Claude Pitre, gave an unusually stark account of how her own family viewed her after her death. In Mommy Dead and Dearest, he said nobody wanted her ashes and that he told the family to flush them down the toilet.
