Chad Daybell’s Excommunication & Whitney Houston Obsession

Chad Daybell’s Excommunication & Whitney Houston Obsession Just when you think Chad Daybell’s story can’t get stranger… it does. In this third installment, we pivot from prophetic romance to spiritual self-pity as Chad shifts into martyr mode. Through another handwritten prison letter, Chad describes his LDS mission, the persecution he claims to have faced, and ultimately, his excommunication from the church — which he says he learned about through a form letter delivered late by jail staff. But the truly surreal moment? Chad claims he had a deep spiritual awakening while listening to Whitney Houston’s “So Emotional.” Yes, really. Tony, Stacy, and special guest Bob Motta break it all down — from the narcissistic tone of Chad’s self-defense, to the psychological profile of someone who weaponizes religion as both shield and sword. Bob brings in legal insight, comparing Chad’s behavior to other high-control defendants who shape reality to fit their needs. Is Chad deluded… or dangerous? The segment ends on a chilling final comment from Bob: “Even if there’s a universe where Chad didn’t kill anyone... not very likely.” Hashtags: #ChadDaybell #LoriVallow #WhitneyHouston #SoEmotional #Excommunication #TrueCrimePodcast #HiddenKillers #TonyBruski #BobMotta #CultBehavior Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video?
