Anna Kepner's father has said the family is placing their trust in the justice system. That system has now delayed Timothy Hudson's trial three times, pushed the date into 2027, and produced a defense team that admits it can't decide whether its client should plead guilty or fight — because of one issue the defense won't identify. Hudson was sixteen when Anna was found dead aboard the Carnival Horizon. He's charged as an adult. The plea reportedly gives him 24 to 30 years. Trial risks life. His own mother and stepfather refused to take him back after the cruise. His lawyers say they've never represented a juvenile in federal court. The judge has drawn a line: plea by January 15th or jury by January 25th. The family wants accountability. The defense wants more time. The one thing holding up the decision is the one thing that stays sealed.
