Alex Murdaugh’s Housekeeper Knows Something — and His Team Is the Only One Investigating the Clerk

The defense says other suspects committed these murders. Blanca Turrubiate-Simpson — twenty years inside the Murdaugh household — agrees that other people were in the picture. And her agreement is the worst thing the defense could hear. Because Blanca isn’t saying someone else did it. She’s saying Alex always used someone else for everything — and the killings fit the same operational pattern she watched play out for two decades.

In her most extensive interview since the reversal, Blanca describes what the house looked like the morning after June 7th. Not through crime scene photos. Through the eyes of someone who knew every domestic rhythm. The details that didn’t match. The things that were moved.

And while Blanca is talking, the only person investigating Becky Hill is Alex Murdaugh himself. His team filed a federal lawsuit against Hill for six hundred thousand dollars. Not for the money — for the subpoena power. The state hasn’t investigated. The attorney general hasn’t investigated. The man Hill helped convict is the only one asking questions under oath.

A look back at the most compelling stories of the week.
