Ep 363: When a Pastor Uses the Bible to Manipulate You: My Story and What I Learned
What happens when someone in a position of spiritual leadership uses God's Word to manipulate and control others? In this episode, I'm sharing my personal experience with a church leader who used manipulation, gaslighting, and claims of hearing from God to influence me and other young adults in our church. I'll share the warning signs I missed, what I wish I had known, and the lessons I learned about biblical discernment, interpreting Scripture, and trusting the Lord.
