Ep: 254 Was Jesus a Socialist? with Laura Zifer Powell

The early church shattered cultural norms by selling possessions and property to support one another. They not only had all things in common, but they put their profits into a community pot and the church thrived. Is this an example of why some say Jesus would support socialism? Laura Z Powell is on the show to crtique the claim that Jesus was a socialist. She gives biblical examples to refute this claim and she talks about what socialism is and why it leads to communism. Everytime Laura is on the show, you know she is going to edify and inform you as she shares her wisdom.
