The Girl In the Bag | 2007 | 1/2

It's the evening of the 20th of August, 2007. A young girl named Nurin Jazlin Jazimin had gone by herself to a night market near her home in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur, looking to buy a hairpin.

But unfortunately, she does not come back. 

Investigations would comb through her family members, school mates, and witnesses at the market that night. Some had seen her for a fleeting moment, while others could only offer their sympathy and support. 

But on the 17th of September, nearly a month after Nurin had disappeared, a bag appeared outside a shophouse in Petaling Jaya. Inside was the body of a girl.

 

Part 1: We explore the events surrounding Nurin's disappearance, and the initial reactions from her family members and her community.

Part 2: We follow the investigations following the discovery of the bag, and the trick circumstances surrounding the case as authorities tried to look for Nurin's killer.
