Why Do Christians Need Community? | Daily Devotional & Bible Study
Today I begin a short two part series on why community matters so much in our walk with Jesus. We were made for relationship, first with God and then with each other. I share a lesson the Lord taught me that helped me see how He designed us to live connected. Questions this episode answers Why do Christians need community? God made us for relationship, with Him and with each other. Scripture calls the church a body, where each part needs the others (1 Corinthians 12). Community is where we are encouraged, corrected, and carried when life is hard. Can I grow in my faith on my own? Personal time with God matters, but we were never meant to grow alone. Hebrews 10:24-25 urges believers to keep meeting together and to stir one another up toward love and good works. How do I find Christian community? Start small. Join a Bible study, ask a friend to pray with you, or serve at your church. Deep friendships grow over time as you keep showing up. Links One of my favorite parts of Bible Study Live is watching a small group of women open Scripture together and leave as real friends. Bible Study Live is a small-group Bible study trip with Rachael Groll. Study Scripture where it happened in Rome, or slow down for a contemplative Bible study retreat in Maui.
