How Do I Wait on God With Expectation? (Psalm 5) | Daily Devotional & Bible Study

There is a difference between just waiting and waiting with expectation. Today in Psalm 5, we look at David's example of pouring out his heart to God in the morning, so we can have joy while we wait. "In the morning, O LORD, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch." (Psalm 5:3) Questions this episode answers What is Psalm 5 about? Psalm 5 is a morning prayer where David asks God to hear him and lead him. He ends by rejoicing that God protects those who take refuge in Him. Why pray in the morning? Praying first thing sets our hearts on God before the day pulls us in other directions. David brought his prayer to God in the morning and then eagerly watched for His answer.
