Will God Step In When It Doesn't Make Sense? (Psalm 18, Part 3) | Daily Devotional & Bible Study

In part 3 of Psalm 18, we look at the last part of the psalm and the images David uses to show us who God is. Our encouragement today is that God can step in on our behalf, even when it doesn't seem to make sense. "As for God, His way is blameless; The word of the LORD is tested; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him." (Psalm 18:30) Questions this episode answers What does Psalm 18 teach about God's nature? David pictures God as a rock, a shield, a fortress, and a deliverer. These images show that God is strong, faithful, and close to those who trust Him. Does God still fight for His people today? Yes. The same God who rescued David is the God we serve, and Romans 8:31 reminds us that if God is for us, no one can stand against us. Why does God's way sometimes not make sense to us? God sees what we cannot see, and His plans are bigger than our view of things. His Word is tested and true, so we can trust Him even when we don't understand.
