How Do I Love Boldly When the World Pushes Back? (John 15:12-27) | Daily Devotional & Bible Study

Today I talk about facing online hate as a Christian creator and what Jesus says about following Him when the world pushes back. In John 15, He calls us to love others the way He loved us, even when it brings criticism or rejection. We look at the Holy Spirit as our helper and how abiding in Christ gives us joy and peace under pressure. "This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you." (John 15:12) Questions this episode answers Why did Jesus say the world would hate His followers? In John 15:18-19, Jesus explained that the world hated Him first, and His followers belong to Him rather than to the world. When our lives reflect Him, some people will push back. That does not mean we are doing something wrong. What is agape love? Agape is the selfless, sacrificial love Jesus showed us. It is a choice, not just a feeling. Jesus calls us to love one another this way, even the people who oppose us. How does the Holy Spirit help when I face opposition? Jesus promised the Helper, the Spirit of truth, who testifies about Him (John 15:26). The Spirit gives us strength, guidance, and courage to keep loving people and speaking truth.
