Day 5: Genesis: 2:4-7 Formed by God, Formed for God (2025)

In Genesis 2:4-7, we see a powerful picture of God’s intentional creation of humanity. The earth was unproductive, with no rain or cultivation, until God prepared it for life. He formed Adam from the dust of the ground, breathing His own breath of life into him, reminding us that we are created with purpose and sustained by His Spirit. This passage highlights humanity’s dependence on God for life, identity, and relationship. It invites us to reflect on the intimate care and provision of the Creator, who shapes us and calls us His own. ☆ GET THE JOURNALING WORKBOOK HERE ☆ : patreon.com/HearingJesus _______________________________________ Show Sponsor Partnership Information: ☆Get 25% OFF your subscription to DWELL DWELLBIBLE.COM/HEARINGJESUS ☆Teach English and Earn Your Master’s Degree: ELIC.ORG/HEARINGJESUS ☆To Sponsor a child through Compassion International ➤ Compassion.com/hearingjesus Or text HEARINGJESUS to 83393 ☆Get 40% off with your subscription at EARTHBREEZE.COM/HEARINGJESUS _______________________________________ If you would like to give to Hearing Jesus and financially support the podcast, you can do so here ! ➤ Give Here ________________________________________ Connect further with us !
