Day 2: Genesis: 1:1-13 In The Beginning (2025) In today’s episode, we explore the opening verses of Genesis and uncover the deep truths about God’s creative purpose. Far beyond a scientific explanation, Genesis invites us to see how God brings order, meaning, and relationship to creation. We’ll dive into the significance of ruah—God’s breath or Spirit—and how it connects to His sustaining work throughout Scripture and in our lives today. This conversation will challenge us to view the world not just through a structural lens but through the purpose and function God designed. Whether you’re new to Genesis or revisiting it with fresh eyes, this episode will deepen your understanding of God’s heart for His creation—and for you. ☆ GET THE JOURNALING WORKBOOK HERE ☆ : patreon.com/HearingJesus _______________________________________ Show Sponsor Partnership Information: ☆Get 25% OFF your subscription to DWELL DWELLBIBLE.COM/HEARINGJESUS ☆Teach English and Earn Your Master’s Degree: ELIC.ORG/HEARINGJESUS ☆To Sponsor a child through Compassion International ➤ Compassion.com/hearingjesus Or text HEARINGJESUS to 83393 ☆Get 40% off with your subscription at EARTHBREEZE.COM/HEARINGJESUS _______________________________________ If you would like to give to Hearing Jesus and financially support the podcast, you can do so here ! ➤ Give Here ________________________________________ Connect further with us !
