669// Understanding True Greatness: Lessons from Mark 9:30-50

669// Understanding True Greatness: Lessons from Mark 9:30-50 In today’s episode, we explore Mark 9:30-50, where Jesus redefines greatness in the Kingdom of God. The disciples argue about who among them is the greatest, but Jesus flips the script by teaching that true greatness comes from humility, service, and caring for the least among us. We also unpack Jesus’ warnings about leading others into sin and the radical call to remove anything in our lives that causes us to stumble. This passage challenges us to embrace a life of service, prioritize relationships over status, and take seriously the impact of sin in our lives. **Key Points**: - Jesus teaches that greatness in His Kingdom is about becoming the servant of all, not seeking power or recognition. - Welcoming and serving those who are insignificant in the eyes of the world is central to discipleship. - Jesus’ warnings about causing others to stumble remind us of the importance of living with integrity and care for others. - Radical self-discipline in our spiritual lives helps us avoid sin and grow in holiness. **Reflection**: Are you seeking recognition or power, or are you striving to serve others in humility? Jesus shows us that true greatness comes from lowering ourselves to lift others up. ☆ SUBSCRIBE TO OUR PATREON ☆ : patreon.com/HearingJesus If you would like to give to Hearing Jesus and financially support the podcast, you can do so here ! ➤ Give Here _____________________________________________ Connect further with us !
