Today is Maundy Thursday. I think Spain is one of the countries where Easter is more deeply rooted . In any city in Spain you can see many processions throughout the week and you can find "torrijas" in all the bakeries. Last year I told you about the difference between Easter in the north and in the south of Spain in an episode of the podcast, so today I want to tell you some curiosities that you might not know ; why they dress like that, or the origin of this type of dessert. It's all part of Spanish culture and I think it's very interesting. Hoy es Jueves Santo. Creo que España es uno de los países donde más arraigada está la Semana Santa. En cualquier ciudad puedes ver muchas procesiones a lo largo de la semana y puedes encontrar torrijas en todas las panaderías. El año pasado os hablé de la diferencia entre la Semana Santa en el norte y en el sur de España en un episodio del podcast, por eso hoy quiero contaros algunas curiosidades que quizás no conocías ; por qué visten así, o el origen de este tipo de postres.
