Ep. 304.5 (Holiday Bonus Episode) – “Choose Your Struggle” with Jay Shifman (@JBShifman)

“We would rather spend two hours talking to you today than two hours attending your funeral tomorrow.” – Jay Shifman

Today’s bonus featured author episode for the holidays is fellow podcast host, advocate, Mental Health and Substance Misuse & Recovery Speaker, Jay Shifman. Jay and I talk about recovery, suicide, and the necessity of empathy.

Key Things You’ll Learn:

What helped Jay to make the leap to recover from Drug use and speak boldly about it.

Why people don’t seek help when they’re addicted to something.
