180 - "Business Beyond Business" with Paul Edwards (@thepaulsedwards)

Always seek to be in a room where you are not the smartest so your knowledge and experience can expand.

Today's featured bestselling author is fellow podcaster, entrepreneur and speaker, Paul Edwards. Paul and I talk about his book, effectively connecting with others on a deeper level and more!

Key Takeaways:

Create your own networking group that’s not branded as a networking group. Like organizing a game of cards at a cigar lounge.

Commit the following three questions to memory when approaching others.

    - What’s going well for you in business lately?

    - What’s not going well in business for you now?

    - What are you looking forward to?

The above questions help you to go beyond fact-finding to feeling finding. A lot of people want pain relief.

A consistent sleep routine helps you have optimal health.

Be a magnet and not a pusher.

Recognize people who are good at what they do. Especially in public.

You can make money by connecting people.
