Zohran Mamdani - from rank outsider to possibly being New York's next mayor

On the brink of history, Zohran Mamdani, a 34-year-old Democratic mayoral nominee, is poised to become New York City's youngest mayor in over a century and the first Muslim and South Asian to hold the office. However, his lack of executive experience and controversial stances on Palestinian rights have raised concerns. As the election nears, New Yorkers must decide if Mamdani's bold promises and fresh perspective are worth the risk. The Daily News Now! — Every city. Every story. AI-powered. Hosted on Acast.
