Wake Up Dead Man: Faith, Mystery, and Intrigue

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery is now in theaters and streaming on December twelfth. This third installment in the franchise, directed by Rian Johnson, explores religion through a new ensemble cast alongside Daniel Craigs detective Benoit Blanc. The film features a young Catholic priest, Jud Duplenticy, who clashes with the parishs Monsignor, Jefferson Wicks, leading to a murder mystery and a unique partnership between the priest and the detective. Despite its aim for cultural satire, the movie may struggle with pacing and execution, as noted by some early reviews. The Daily News Now! — Every city. Every story. AI-powered. Hosted on Acast.
