Trump, Mamdani Meet? A New York City Detente?

President Trump and New York Citys mayor-elect, Zohran Mamdani, may be on the brink of a political detente. Despite their past conflicts, Trump has expressed interest in meeting with Mamdani, who campaigned on progressive policies opposed to Trumps agenda. Mamdani, a Ugandan-born democratic socialist, defeated former Governor Andrew Cuomo in the election. The potential meeting could signal a shift in their relationship, though no date has been set.
