Shelton Out, Nakashima In for Laver Cup | Global News

Ben Shelton pulls out of the Laver Cup just as he hits career-high No. 4 ranking, making way for rising star Brandon Nakashima—ranked 16th—to debut on Team World, led by Andre Agassi. Shelton’s absence coincides with his Davis Cup duties in the Czech Republic. Team Europe, featuring Zverev and Alcaraz under Yannick Noah, looks equally formidable. The three-day showdown at London’s O2 Arena promises high-stakes tennis, blending global rivalry with the unique team spirit of the Laver Cup.
