Script Ohio: A Dream Come True

Script Ohio tradition, a cherished college football ritual, celebrates its 89th year with The Ohio State University Marching Band. Joseph Orr, a Sousaphone player from Chillicothe, Ohio, is one of the eight students chosen to dot the i in Script Ohio this season. The honor is reserved for fourth and fifth-year players, with a competitive selection process based on a point system. The moment of dotting the i is a highlight for both the player and the crowd, symbolizing dedication and experience in the band. The Daily News Now! — Every city. Every story. AI-powered.
