Rafah Tour Highlights Ceasefire Challenges

Israeli forces led journalists on a tour of Rafah, Gaza, revealing a critical state of the ceasefire with Hamas. The tour showcased an underground tunnel system used by Hamas, where the body of Israeli soldier Hadar Goldin was held. The recent ceasefire, brokered by the US, aims to return all hostages, with only one more body remaining. The next phase, involving disarming Hamas and Israels withdrawal from Gaza, is expected to be challenging. Israeli PM Netanyahu is set to discuss these steps with US President Trump. The tour also highlighted the extensive destruction in Rafah, once a refuge, now largely in ruins. The Daily News Now! — Every city. Every story. AI-powered. Hosted on Acast.
