Pat Cummins Returns for Crucial Ashes Test

Australias cricket captain, Pat Cummins, is set to return for the third Ashes Test against England, marking the only change to the squad. Cummins, a fast bowler, has been sidelined due to a back problem but has been actively training. Australia needs a draw to retain the Ashes, while England faces a monumental task to win after being two-nil down. Pace bowler Josh Hazlewood is out for the rest of the series, and Jhye Richardson will train with the team as he recovers from a shoulder injury. Off-spinner Nathan Lyon is expected to return, potentially leaving out Brendan Doggett and Michael Neser. England, after a break, will return to training, hoping to end a seventeen-Test winless streak in Australia. The Daily News Now! — Every city. Every story. AI-powered. Hosted on Acast.
