Nobel Peace Prize for Venezuelan Opposition Leader

Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado, awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, couldnt attend the ceremony due to safety concerns. Her daughter accepted the prize on her behalf. Machado, in hiding since January, expressed gratitude and anticipated her arrival in Oslo. Prominent Latin American figures attended, and Machado described the prize as a prize for all Venezuelans.
