María Leonora's Temazcal-Inspired Concerts

Mexican composer María Leonoras Through All the Fire concert series draws inspiration from the pre-Hispanic temazcal, a steam bath with ritual and cosmological significance. Leonora uses music, sound, lights, and visuals to guide audiences from darkness to renewal, inviting them to cross a salt circle and leave the outside world behind. The show culminates in a transformative moment where Leonora, stripped of her makeup and layers, symbolizes rebirth and renewal. The Daily News Now! — Every city. Every story. AI-powered.
